IMCA Modifieds Get Top Billing In Aug. 2 Fair Special At Wakeeney
 
WaKEENEY, Kan. (July 29) A $1,000 top prize and a spot on the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot are at stake in the Trego County Fair special for IMCA Modifieds at WaKeeney Speedway.
 
Also on the Monday, Aug. 2 program are IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks racing for $500, $400 and $300 to win, respectively.
 
All applicable IMCA points, plus special events contingencies, will be awarded.
 
Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m.
 
Pit passes are $25. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-13. Youngsters five and under get in free.
