Extreme Modifieds head to USA International this Weekend

Lakeland, FL (May 1, 2008) The Extreme Modifieds will make their third appearance of the 2008 season this Saturday at USA International. The Extreme Modifieds will race 50 laps after the ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour race.

"We are very excited about this Saturday and the race," said Race Director Rick Hall. "We are hoping a good number of modified turn out to support the race and the fans won't be disappointed in what they see Saturday."

Leading the points in the Extreme Modifieds is Alan Bruns followed by last year's Champion Robbie Cooper. Jerry Symons runs third in points followed by Shain Held and Skip Honaker.

On Friday, May 2, there will be open practice for both the ASA Southeast cars and the Extreme Modifieds. The pit gate will open at 2 pm on Friday.

On Saturday, May 3, the pit gate will open at 10 pm with practice for the Extreme Modifieds from 3:05 pm to 4 pm. Qualifying for the Extreme Modified 50 will be at 5:15 pm. The race will follow after the ASA Southeast race.
